Functional MRI Laboratory PDF Print E-mail

The functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging lab provides infrastructure for functional neuroimaging experiments in the area of cognitive neuroscience. Buildings blocks of the Lab are good availability of scan-time on a 3T MRI set up for fMRI, access to analysis computers in the department of psychology and on the TITAN grid, and regular fMRI methods meetings.

3T Scanner
The lab has regular access to a 3T Tesla Philips Center at the Interventions Center at Rikshospitalet Oslo. Fix installation of stimulus presentation PC, multiple response devices, beamer and goggles, an eye tracking system allow the efficient implementation of a broad range of experiments.

Data Analysis
For data analysis we have an analysis room with several PC workstations available (with SPM and BrainVoyager installed) and can use the TITAN cluster at the University of Oslo (FSL and SPM analysis can be run on these machines).

fMRI Meetings
An important part of the lab are our weakly fMRI meetings, in which we treat basic and advanced issues of fMRI analysis. In case you want to learn more about these meetings or would like to participant, please send us an This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
